Unless you’ve been nowhere near social media or simply haven’t checked your calendar, it’s May 4th, a day devoted to celebrating all things Star Wars. Many of today’s big reveals have revolved around new merchandise rather than anything as major as the title of Episode VIII, but Han Solo co-director Chris Miller has dropped a very cool teaser on Twitter tonight.

Alongside his fellow Jump Street and LEGO Movie helmer Phil Lord, he will be taking the helm of the Star Wars spinoff which we most recently heard has seen Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Caesar!) emerge as a frontrunner to take on the role of a young Han Solo come 2018.

It’s not clear whether this is a photo from the set of The Force Awakens or possibly even Rogue One, but it’s a great little teaser nonetheless. The latter movie is probably more likely anyway, especially as rumours have pointed to Han making a brief appearance there.

Written by Star Wars vet Lawrence Kasdan and his son Jon Kasdan, the Han Solo movie is set to be released on May 25th, 2018. Chewbacca has been confirmed as making an appearance, but plot details are being kept under wraps. All we know for sure is that it will be set some time before the Millennium Falcon pilot ended up meeting Luke and Obi-Wan!
