HeyUGuys were fortunate enough to set off to New York City to discuss what it’s like being a teenager with American superstar Hailee Steinfeld, to mark the release of one of the best high school teen flicks in recent years, The Edge of Seventeen.
Steinfeld discusses the joy in collaborating with first-time filmmaker Kelly Fremon Craig as well as her own ambitions to one day work behind the camera. She also discusses how flawed her lead role of Nadine is, and just how she herself has changed since being 17 years old. She goes on to speak about her career, and how she has built upon the Academy Award nomination she received for her role in True Grit, and what we can expect of the forthcoming Pitch Perfect 3, where she combines her two passions in life of acting and singing.
The Edge of Seventeen is released on November 30th.
