Amazing Spider-Man 2

Sony have released new stills from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ahead of the debut of the final trailer, and they offer up not only a fantastic look at Dane DeHaan as the Green Goblin, but also Paul Giamatti suited up as The Rhino and standing on two feet (a sight which should please many comic book fans).

Those of you who weren’t sold on this Goblin design from what we’ve already had probably won’t be any happier with this close up look. Harry Osborn became the Goblin in both the classic and Ultimate line of comics, but this version is something entirely new, neither fully costumed or transformed.

Also below is a promo poster teasing Spidey’s battle with the Green Goblin and a new international poster which puts the spotlight on Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). So, what do you guys make of this Green Goblin redesign? Be sure to let us know in the comment section below!

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper and Paul Giamatti, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released in the UK on 18th April and in the US on May 2nd.
