It was recently revealed (much to the surprise of pretty much everyone) that Bill Murray will be making an appearance in Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot, and it has today been revealed that yet another familiar face from the 1984 classic will be showing up in the 2016 release.

Ernie Hudson played Dr. Winston Zeddemore in the original Ghostbusters, and was the fourth member to join the team after seeing a job advertisement in the wanted ads, and replying.

It’s unclear who the actor will be playing in the reboot, but with Murray expected to take on a different role, chances are it won’t be as the same character unfortunately for franchise fans.

Controversially, Hudson described the all-female cast as a “bad idea” when the new first broke, but later praised the four leads (Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon) as, “Four fiercely funny, foxy, females busting ghosts … phenomenal.”

The news of his involvement in this new Ghostbusters movie broke after he was spotted on the set of the movie. We’ll hopefully hear something a little more definite about this soon, but it should be fun to see how he factors into the reboot which is set for release next July.
