One of the more intriguing films out this year concerns Ryan Reynolds and his character’s relationship with Mr. Whiskers, Bosco, Deer, and Bunny Monkey. Over a year after it debuted at Sundance Marjane Satrapi’s rich black comedy The Voices is about to be released here and we’ve got an exclusive clip for you fine people.

The film played very well on the festival circuit (our glowing review from the 2014 LFF is here) and it is the winning charm of Reynolds which will ensure that a larger than average audience will be drawn to this.

Essentially he holds the film together, keeping us in the loop as things begin to spiral badly wrong and then out of control. A dozen superhero and rom-com leads down and there is still a likable everyman quality to Reynolds. The Voices is some of his best work so far.

So here’s the clip, don’t ask for context, just enjoy…

You can hear The Voices for yourself as the film is released in UK cinemas on the 20th of March.
