When Ben Wheatley and Amy Jump step behind the camera you know great things are afoot. Their divisive High Rise was, in our opinion, a joy and their latest venture, Free Fire, looks to continue their winning streak.

Hours after the film had its world premiere out at TIFF the first trailer for the film has dropped, and you can enjoy that below.

Our new Captain Marvel Brie Larson joins with Armie Hammer, Cillian Murphy, Sharlto Copley, Jack Reynor, Michael Smiley, Sam Riley and Noah Taylorto make up a fine cast. And from what we’ve seen of the not-so-merry band so far they have a certain flair.

Ben Wheatley and his cast were at the world premiere last night at the Toronto Film Festival and if you’re here with us in the capital you should make a date with the film next month during the London Film Festival. Otherwise it’s a long wait until March next year.

We’ll have our review up as soon as possible, you can see the interviews we conducted with the director and cast last night.

Trailer time!

A synopsis is here:
