Deadpool was a bigger hit than anyone expected, but both the Fantastic Fox reboot and X-Men: Apocalypse were major box office disappointments for 20th Century Fox. However, that’s clearly not going to slow down their plans for the Marvel characters they hold the rights to as the studio announced two more release dates today for unknown adaptations.

They’ve slotted in untitled Marvel movies for November 2nd, 2018 and February 14th, 2019. Fox now has three Marvel movies dated for 2018, but we don’t know what any of them are.

However, among the most likely possibilities are Gambit, Josh Boone’s New Mutants, Deadpool 2 and 3, X-Force, and an X-Men: Apocalypse sequel. Sadly, with Hugh Jackman’s final Wolverine set to reach the big screen next March in Logan, he won’t be among them.

Unfortunately, there’s almost always bad news to go with good, and it has also been confirmed that Kingsman: The Golden Circle has now been moved from next June to October 6th. That means it will be released the same day as Blade Runner 2049, a bold move on the part of Fox. The first was a hit of course, so you can understand their confidence to be fair!

With any luck, we’ll get some updates on what these Marvel movies are soon enough.
