RoboCop

It’s fair to say that the first clip which is released from most movies is often fairly unrevealing or unexciting. Well, this one wastes no time in showing us Joel Kinnaman in action as RoboCop as he takes on an entire team of drones led by Jackie Earle Haley’s Maddox. Meanwhile, Dr. Robert Norton (Gary Oldman) and Raymond Sellars (Michael Keaton) look on.

Although director Jose Padhila certainly seems to have a good handle on the action side of things, the song choice doesn’t do the footage any favours as it arguably fails to mesh with what we’re actually seeing. What do you guys think? Check out the clip below (along with the official synopsis) and then let us know in the comment section at the bottom of the page.

RoboCop is set to be released on February 14th in the US and one week before in the UK.
