When the first stills for Taken 3 found their way online earlier this week (if you missed them, check out the first few by clicking here and more below), there was some talk of the third instalment in the popular franchise being titled Tak3n. That had to be a joke, right? Wrong, as you can see from this first poster!
Regardless of the slightly silly sounding title, the movie sounds promising and Neeson recently revealed that the third Taken 3 will see him go on the run, “from the not-so-lawful types and the lawful authorities. Bryan Mills served his country faithfully, but now even they are after him. They must not like me.”
For that reason, we won’t be seeing anyone get take this time around, something the 62 year old actor insisted on. “I said, ‘I’m dead serious, guys. My daughter certainly can’t be taken, and I can’t be taken.'” The poster also confirms previous reports that the action will be set in Los Angeles in the threequel.
Of course, if you’ve seen A Walk Among The Tombstones, you’ll agree that Neeson has most definitely still got it! That movie and more can be found in our list of the 20 most must-watch movies left in 2014.
Directed by Olivier Megaton, Taken 3 – sorry, Tak3n – is set to be released on January 9th, 2015.
