The rough cut trailer which was shown for X-Men: Apocalypse in Hall H at the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday was quickly leaked online, but as it was made up of footage from the first five weeks of production, don’t expect to see an official version surface as was the case with Suicide Squad. That’s a shame, but fear not, as Entertainment Weekly has today unveiled the first official images from the highly anticipated movie.

In them we get our first look at Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse. He looks quite a bit different to the comic books, but had they adapted the villain 100% faithfully, he would have had to have been CGI like Marvel’s Thanos.

The one reveal here which is sure to make fans happy is Olivia Munn’s amazingly accurate Psylocke suit!

As well as returning cast members James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and possibly Ian McKellen, X-Men: Apocalypse will also introduce Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Lana Condor, Oscar Isaac, Ben Hardy, Olivia Munn, and a number of others.

X-Men Apocalypse is set to be released on May 27th, 2016. Which mutants do we most want to see in Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past follow-up? Well, you can find that out by clicking right here.
