Today we’ve got an exclusive look at the feature film debut of Diego Quemada-Diez, whose previous work lies behind the cameras on the sets of Fernando Meirelles and Alejandro González Iñárritu.
The Golden Dream is being released in the UK on the 27th of June by Peccadillo Pictures following its successful festival run and the trailer below gives us a brief insight into the dangerous struggle faced by the two teenagers trying to cross the Mexican/US border and into the promised land.
The trailer teases a few choice images and the director’s work with Ken Loach promises the harsh realities of such a life will not be given any gloss. Look out for it in a month.
