It’s not looking good for any of the Stark children at this point in the Game of Thrones, and according to this first look teaser trailer for Season Five things are going to get even worse.

Arya Stark’s journey is one of the most interesting in the entire series and the curtain fell on the last season with the youngest Stark leaving her Hound behind (to die, to not?) and setting out to Braavos, fulfilling a prophecy set in motion at the end of season two.

This brief glimpse into the future, tweeted recently from the GoT twitter account, tells of another prophecy, and the voice speaking the portentous words is Melisandre’s.

Knowing what’s coming won’t make it easier to watch. Book readers may think they’re ready but the twists and turns in the path of Arya Stark are among the most compelling and upsetting verses in the song of Ice and Fire.

There’s not much at the Three Eyed Raven just yet – merely a call to sign up to get updates from the Game of Thrones people via Twitter or, oddly, SMS. Do that if you will – I doubt you’ll be able to escape seeing anything from now on.
