As well as critically acclaimed turns in smaller movies like Her and Under the Skin, Scarlett Johansson is making quite the name for herself as an action star. Not only is she Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but Luc Besson’s Lucy grossed close to $400 million worldwide when it was released back in 2014, and next up is Ghost in the Shell.

While some fans could never quite believe that a live-action version of this classic manga would actually happen, we now have proof that it is thanks to the first official image which offers up a look at the Captain America: Civil War star in character as the Major.

Ghost in the Shell has been in the works for a while and follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.

Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) is directing this Ghost in the Shell, and it’s set to be released on March 31st, 2017, so we’ll likely see more from this one pretty soon.
