The cast of Friends will finally reunite later this month in the All-Star Tribute to James Burrows, a special celebrating the work of the prolific television director. As you can see in the video below, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and Jennifer Aniston being back together is the major selling point of the show, and it looks like great fun.

However, conspicuous by his absence is Matthew Perry. He couldn’t make the special because he’s currently in London’s Playhouse Theatre where he is starring in The End Of Longing. Whether there will be any sort of video message from the actor remains to be seen.

Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that this tribute will air in the UK, but the Friends part will no doubt quickly find its way online after airing as anticipation for this reunion is at a high.

In other Friends related news, it’s been confirmed by the BBC today that LeBlanc is the new co-presenter of Top Gear alongside Chris Evans (the one from the radio, not Captain America). “As a car nut and a massive fan of Top Gear, I’m honoured and excited to be a part of this iconic show’s new chapter. What a thrill,” the actor said in a press release.

LeBlanc holds the record for being the fastest celebrity to date around the Top Gear track in its reasonably priced car feature. Additional hosts are expected to be announced soon.
