Production on Fast and Furious 6 is currently underway here in the UK, and after catching our first look at Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and director Justin Lin this week, following the first sight of Gina Carano and Dwayne (‘The Rock’) Johnson on set last week, Gal Gadot has put out this excellent first photo of herself returning for another piece of the action.
At the moment, the plot is being kept tightly under wraps, so we can only speculate about the awesome story we’ve got to look forward to next year.
We do know that the cast is immense: Diesel and Walker are both back for more, alongside Johnson, Carano, Gadot, and a host of new and familiar faces, headed up by Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Luke Evans, Joe Taslim, Tyrese Gibson, and Sung Kang.
Lin returns to the helm once more, directing a script by Chris Morgan, who penned the third, fourth, and fifth film.
Gadot joined the cast back in the fourth film, Fast & Furious, which saw the brilliant re-energising of the franchise starring both Walker and Diesel together for the first time since the original. She then joined their heist/driving crew in the fifth film, becoming a brilliant love interest for Kang’s Han, and we should have plenty more action to look forward to from her in the next film.
Fast and Furious 6 is set for release on 24th May, 2013, and we can’t wait for it to arrive. Fast Five was a brilliant part of the segue into the heist/action genre that the series is transitioning into, and the expectations are high for the next instalment.
