With the Harry Potter franchise now over, you can’t really blame Warner Bros. for wanting to find a way to keep the popular series alive. Well, they’ve done exactly that with upcoming prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. However, don’t go expecting an adventure focusing on Harry’s parents or something similar; this will be a very different adventure!

Starring Academy Award winning actor Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) as world-famous magizoologist Newt Scamander, Fantastic Beasts is actually set in 1926 New York.

The magazine cover below depicts Newt with what Entertainment Weekly describes as, “his pivotal briefcase in hand, standing inside the entrance of the majestic art deco-influenced Magical Congress of the United States of America (or MACUSA), which is the American version of the Ministry of Magic that’s housed inside the Woolworth Building in the film.”

The story centres on Newt’s adventures in the secret community of witches and wizards as he attempts to document magical creatures. Don’t expect a cameo from a certain someone either, as the events of Fantastic Beasts take place 70 years before the Harry Potter movies.

The incredible cast of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them also includes Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Alison Sudol, Ron Perlman, Jon Voight, and Colin Farrell. Directed by David Yates from a script by J.K. Rowling, it’s set to be released on November 18th, 2016.
