The Shrek franchise may be about to end with the new movie, Shrek Forever After coming out in UK cinemas 2nd July, but that hasn’t stopped spin off movie, Puss in Boots.
A website has launched for the movie at www.pussinbootsthemovie.com which will see Antonio Banderas back as our favourite Mexican sword fighting cat in November 2011 (not sure if that’s UK release too but we’ll keep you posted).
According to the site:
Puss in Boots – One of the most beloved characters of the Shrek Universe – Tells the hilarious and courageous (daring, bold, brave) tale of Puss’ (Antonio Banderas) early adventures as he teams with mastermind Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) and the street-savvy Kitty (Salma Hayek) to steal the famed goose that lays the golden egg”.
We also get our first look at Hayek’s character, Kitty in the images below but I’m looking forward to seeing Humpty Dumpty!
