A Good Day to Die Hard, the fifth entry in the immensely popular Die Hard franchise, will be hitting theatres on Valentine’s Day, and promises to live up to the expectations of a Bruce Willis-led action blockbuster.
“Since the first Die Hard in 1988, John McClane has found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, with the skills and attitude to always be the last man standing, making him enemy #1 for terrorists the world over. Now, McClane faces his greatest challenge ever, this time on an international stage, when his estranged son Jack is caught up in the daring prison escape of a rogue Russian leader, and father and son McClane must work together to keep each other alive and keep the world safe for democracy.”
Starring alongside Willis and Courtney will be Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch, and Yuliya Snigir, with the brilliant Mary Elizabeth Winstead reprising her role as Lucy McClane (John’s daughter, Jack’s sister) from the fourth film.
John Moore (Max Payne) is at the helm, directing from a script by Skip Woods (Hitman).
A Good Day to Die Hard will be hitting theatres in the UK and US on 14th February, 2013, making for a perfect action film for the Valentine’s weekend, as an alternative to the more romantic fare. For now, here’s the first featurette for the film. Enjoy.
