A clip from the new Matt Reeves’ film, Let Me In, has finally hit the interwebs and has given us a brief glimpse of the English language adaptation of Let the Right One In.

This is our first foray into really understanding the style and tone of Reeves’ film and how he plans on making it his own.

So far it seemed he had been extremely faithful to the 2008 Tomas Alfredson version of Let the Right One In, and we can already see from the clip that he is taking a different approach when it comes to obtaining blood for his daughter.

Check out the clip below and tell us what you think of it.

The film is written and directed by Matt Reeves and stars Chloe Moretz, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Richard Jenkins, Elias Koteas, Sasha Barrese and Cara Buono.  It hits US theaters on October 1st and UK theaters on the 29th.
