Earlier this morning Zack Snyder tweeted out the first image of Game of Thronesman Jason Momoa as the King of Atlantis, founding member of the Justice League and all round wet fish, Aquaman.
How large Momoa’s role will be in the forthcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is not yet known, but let’s be honest – you’d watch an Aquaman with this guy, right? And with the shared universe just getting started it seems clear that Snyder is looking to place Aquaman in a pivotal, if small, role in the DC universe showcase next year.

Eschewing the orange and green costume for a more Clash of the Titans look, Momoa certainly looks the part.
Unite the Seven is surely a reference to the forthcoming Justice League and given the way the DC cinematic space is shaping up then it looks like King Aqua is going to be instrumental in bringing the disparate elements together.
Looks pretty good. And not a fish joke in there at all.
