When you hit play on the trailer below you’ll be greeted with a wave of happiness as the swells of Thomas Newman’s Finding Nemo theme washes over you. It’s a powerful return to Pixar’s world below the sea – and now we can’t wait for July next year to enjoy Finding Dory.

The trailer’s light on specifics (Dory sleepswims, still has trouble remembering, and is off to find her family this time) and much has changed since we all gathered in the dentist’s office at 42 Wallaby Way. But there’s charm and genius enough in the school of Emeryville to fill an ocean, and with the success of Inside Out, and The Good Dinosaur due out in a few weeks, Pixar have more than earned this sequel.

Andrew Stanton directs, Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Eugene Levy and the wonderful Diane Keaton lend their voices. The film is out in UK cinemas on the 29th of July, 2016.
