Only 3 days to go until possibly our most anticipated movie of the year so far is released – Prometheus!! The date on the featurette states it’s the 8th June but I am pleased to tell you that it’s out in the UK this Friday 1st June and we’ll get our review of the movie up as soon as we’re allowed to after we (Jon) see(s) it tomorrow.
This fabulous new featurette which 20th Century Fox have released gives us a virtual tour around the ship detailing exactly where the name of the movie and the ship came from and why they decided to called it that. We also get to hear from some cast members including Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace about what the visuals are like on the set and why the ship is so special. Director Ridley Scott also tells us about the ship and what he loves so much about it and why it’s so integral to the movie. Finally, Arthur Max, the Production Designer on the movie talks us through various specifics on why the ship looks the way it does.
