Wow, I’ve never seen this before a game with FIFA in the title taking top spot in the all format charts! I jest of course, but it’s fair to say as soon as new FIFA game gets released, it will take the number one spot.
This time it’s a little more surprising as it had some stiff competition from EA’s other AAA title Mass Effect 3. With all the grief Bioware are getting regarding the third games ending, I thought the extra hype may have pushed ME 3 to the top spot.
Still, EA must be pretty happy as they have taken the top four spots on the chart. Other interesting news is that RAGE has climbed from 20th all the way to 7th. This could be due to some hefty price cuts. Head over to Tesco’s and you can pick it up for around £15 and last piece of chart news of note is the remake of Twisted Metal, enters in at number 12.
