The trailers we’ve seen so far all point to a decent adaptation and there’s a strange momentum building around this film, which doesn’t have the pop culture kudos of Super, Bat, or Spider-Man.
Thor is the next slice of Marvel cake to be served up and is directed by Kenneth Branagh with Chris Hemsworth as the title character alongside Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, Stellan Skarsgård, Ray Stevenson and Rene Russo. A stellar cast and with the legend writ large over the posters Marvel are clearly hoping this film will replicate the success of Iron Man.
