Yesterday we got to hear from Mary Elizabeth Winstead and today it’s the turn of acting royalty in the form of the legendary John Goodman.

Goodman has appeared in every type of genre going making a name for himself in Rosanne back in the 80s running for nine years as well as appearing in West Wing, voicing a Pixar character in Monsters Inc., playing the brilliant role of Delbert McClintock in horror movie Arachnophobia and everyone’s favourite – Walter Sobchak opposite Jeff Bridges in The Big Labowski.

Goodman really is one of the most versatile actors out there and it’s no surprise he’s now appearing in the J.J. Abrams produced follow-up to 2008 movie Cloverfield.

In 10 Cloverfield Lane, Goodman plays Howard, a chap that you’re never quite sure whether to trust or not. In our exclusive interview, Goodman talks into what made him want to play Howard, why he’s different to anything else he’s ever done and working on this secret movie that no one really knew was coming until a couple of months ago.

10 Cloverfield Lane hits cinemas this Friday 18th March. Keep your eyes peeled for the otherĀ  interviews as the week progresses and dont forget to enter our competition to win merchandise here and read our 4* review of the movie here.
