Joe Dante’s latest film is another eerie peek into middle America, with his own particular brand of family centred horror coming to the big screen in three dimensions.

The Hole In 3D sees the director returning to the likes of Gremlins and The Howling and Dante touches on both of these films as he talks about his latest project.

We probed the man on his use of 3D, and why he came to choose the format to bring his story of small town scares to the screen.
