One of the finest films of late from the UK, Matthew Vaughn’s adaptation of Mark Millar’s Kingsman: The Secret Service was already turning heads and kicking arse over here before enjoying a similarly successful reception across the pond.

Algerian-born Sofia Boutella has made her name as one of the finest contemporary dancers working today. She has previously starred in the sequel to Streetdance, with her moves coming in handy to play the evil Gazelle, the literal side-kick to Samuel L Jackson’s Kingsman nemesis. She is about to start work on Star Trek 3 in an as yet unknown role.

We spoke to the star about how she found making the transition to the big screen and what it was like working with a whole host of well known actors on her recent projects.

Kingsman: The Secret Service will be out to buy on Blu-ray and DVD from the 8th of June. Well worth it.
