Friday the 9th of June sees the return of the hugely popular Disney Channel series, The Lodge, for a new season of drama-filled antics, exploits and big decision making for the all singing, all dancing friends and we got to spend even more time with the cast after our set visit earlier in the year to chat about the new season.

We spoke to returning cast members Sophie Simnett, Thomas Doherty, Luke Newton, Bethan Wright, Joshua Sinclair-Evans and Jayden Revri as well as our new cunning character Mia Jenkins who will play Alex and looks set to ruffle a few feathers.
With Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh joining the show in a recurring role as a young trendy music producer for season two we asked the guys what it was like working with the singing superstar as well as trying to get some information on whether the cast thought Skye had made the right decision choosing between Ben and Sean which viewers will get to find out in the very first episode.

The cast were also really excited to talk about their upcoming tour with The Big Ticket which kicks off later this year in August in Glasgow and will travel to Belfast, Manchester, Birmingham and London. Fans of the show will have the chance to see the guys perform live on stage for the very first time together alongside cast members from The Next Step and Backstage.
We also got the chance to ask if they could choose any other character from the show, the majority, including Sophie, went for the bad guy – Just because playing a villain is always much more fun and Sophie added because the character is so much different to Skye.
