Although he really broke through in a big way as Ben Wyatt on the critically-acclaimed NBC comedy Parks and Recreation, Adam Scott has been in the business for a while.  With almost 100 acting credits to his name, Scott has worked with famed directors like Martin Scorsese and Terry Zwigoff, and a host of comedy greats like Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig, Amy Poehler, and more.

In his new film THE OVERNIGHT, Scott takes on the role of Alex – a body-sensitive father new to Los Angeles who makes fast friends with Kurt (Jason Schwartzman), a free-wheeling dad who offers to host Alex and his wife Emily (Taylor Schilling) at his home.  But over the course of one night, introverted Alex let’s his guard down and things start to get interesting.

We talked to Adam about the film in New York this week, and covered a wide range of topics, from comedy to being in comic book movies.  You can check that interview out below.

The Overnight is released in UK cinemas Friday 26th June.
