The actors in new drama Everest clearly go to extremes in bringing to the screen the true-life drama of an expedition gone wrong.
The film looks authentic, and that’s largely thanks to the input of David Breashears, a mountaineer with decades of experience. Not only that, but David was also on Everest during the fateful day that is depicted in the movie.
We spoke about the challenges of Everest, what motivates men and women to risk their lives and the extraordinary circumstances around this particular expedition.
