Sometimes you leave a cinema with an array of questions you want to pose to the filmmakers, mostly beginning with the words ‘how’ and ‘why’. Anomalisa was one of those films, as such a resourceful, unique piece of filmmaking created by innovators Duke Johnson and Charlie Kaufman.
We had the pleasure to sit down with the duo to ask the many questions that had been playing on our minds in the weeks since seeing the Oscar nominated animation. And yes, we speak about that scene.
