This is one film which made a great impact on the Comic Con crowds a couple of weeks ago, and having Guillermo del Toro on board as producer ensures Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark will take a macabre and effective route down a well trodden path.
There was an excellent teaser poster which debuted out in San Diego and this teaser carries on the good work already done by not revealing an awful lot, just hinting at the nastiness to come.
Troy Nixey directs Katie Holmes and Guy Pearce in this one and part of me wants you to not watch this one on your computer screen, I imagine it’s far more effective in a darkened cinema.
