2016 is going to be a very big year for superhero movies, and while we have plenty of epic sequels on the way like Captain America: Civil War and X-Men: Apocalypse, it’s arguably Doctor Strange which is the most exciting – and certainly the most unique – upcoming release. Directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, the Marvel Studios movie is a bold step in a new direction for Kevin Feige and company as they start Phase 3.

Of course, previous “risky” endeavours like Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy paid off big time for Marvel, so there’s really no reason to believe Doctor Strange won’t also be a hit.

Today, a new piece of concept art has been released offering yet another look inside the Sorcerer Supreme’s Sanctum Sanctorum. Also below is a set photo showing off the practical version of this iconic location, and believe it or not, that window has a lot of significance to the Doctor Strange mythos as it’s called the Window of the Worlds, and is decorated to look like the Seal of the Vishanti. The hero uses the room as a meditation chamber of sorts.

Doctor Strange follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions. Also starring Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Mads Mikkelsen, Doctor Strange is set to be released on November 4th, later this year. Are you excited yet?
