Earlier this week, the third season of House of Cards appeared on Netflix before being taken down again moments later. Based on a Tweet from the show’s official account, it might just have been a publicity stunt!

When we last saw Frank Underwood (stop reading now if you’re not up to date with House of Cards), he had finally achieved his goal of becoming President of the United States. After two years of seeing him do anything and everything to reach the Oval Office, it should be fascinating now to see what happens next!

Based on this latest preview of season three however, there’s a lot of tension between Frank (Kevin Spacey) and his wife Claire (Robin Wright). Could their House of Cards – sorry! – be about to come crashing down?

House of Cards was considered a huge risk when Netflix first announced that they had committed to a $100 million 26-episode run, but it paid off big time, opening the door to Orange is the New Black and more.

Plot details are still scarce, but seeing Frank as President should shake things up quite a bit. House of Cards has been a massive hit for the streaming service, and one of its many accomplishments was becoming the first original online-only series to receive major Emmy nominations. Space won a Golden Globe last month.
