Olaf-in-FrozenComing off the back of another incredibly successful year with Wreck-It Ralph, Disney will be returning to our theatres (and hearts) at the end of the year with Frozen.

The animated comedy-adventure film sees Kristen Bell lead a terrific voice cast, and with the film’s November/December release dates on the horizon, the studio have released an excellent first teaser trailer, along with a handful of new images.

Walt Disney Animation Studios, the studio behind “Tangled” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” presents “Frozen,” a stunning big-screen comedy adventure.

Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.

Bell lends her voice to the animated blockbuster alongside Idina Menzel as Elsa, the Snow Queen; Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, the mountain man; Josh Gad as the talking snowman, Olaf; and Santino Fontana as Prince Hans.

Chris Buck (Surf’s Up, Tarzan) and Jennifer Lee (Wreck-It Ralph) are behind the camera, with Lee making her feature debut as co-director having co-written Wreck-It Ralph for the studio.

Frozen will be released in 3D on November 27th in the US, with its UK release date arriving slightly later on 6th December. Whilst we eagerly await a good look at the main characters, here’s a brilliant teaser to give us a flavour for the comedy dynamics. Enjoy.
