When Disney go all out, Disney goes all out. From their movies to their TV shows on their very own channel no expense or vibrant colour is spared. Judging from the brand new trailer for the upcoming Disney Channel Movie, Descendants 2, it’s looking to be an even bigger smash than the original.

Disney’s Descendants told the imaginative story about the teenage sons and daughters of Disney’s most infamous villains. The sequel looks all set to be another phenomenon as the villain kids embark on another action-adventure filled with catchy song and dance numbers.
How catchy? Well, one of the major successes coming out of the first Descendants was the lead song ‘Rotten to the Core’ which hit over 220 million hits on YouTube. With that kind of response in mind, Disney has released a new music video from the sequel alongside the trailer below. You tell us if you simply can’t get that tune out of your head.
Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart, Sofia Carson and Mitchell Hope will reprise their starring roles as Mal, Carlos, Jay, Evie and King Ben while The Lodge star Thomas Doherty is set to play Harry, the Son of Captain Hook. The story deepens in the music-driven sequel as the teenage sons and daughters of Disney’s most infamous villains – Mal (Dove Cameron), Evie (Sofia Carson), Carlos (Cameron Boyce) and Jay (Booboo Stewart) — try to find their place in idyllic Auradon. When the pressure to be royally perfect becomes too much for Mal, she returns to her rotten roots on the Isle of the Lost where her archenemy Uma (China Anne McClain), the daughter of Ursula, has taken her spot as self-proclaimed queen of the run-down town, along with her henchman Captain Hook’s son Harry (Scottish actor, Thomas Doherty) and Gaston’s son Gil (Dylan Playfair).
