Box office tracking is pointing to Deadpool being a huge hit with an opening of upwards of $55 million in North America, a figure which should decimate the upcoming Zoolander sequel. With an R-Rating, the X-Men spinoff has always been something of a risk for Fox, but it’s one which is clearly about to pay off (despite the movie having been banned in China).

Win goodies from Deadpool

The first clip from the movie has been released today, and it features a fun scene between Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) and Vanessa Carlysle (Morena Baccarin) as we discover that they both have very important -and hilariously different – questions to ask each other.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional (and popular) anti-heroes, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humour, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
