For two years in a row, Warner Bros. were expected to announce the release dates and titles of a slate of movies based on characters from the DC Comics at Comic Con. It didn’t happen.

We know that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is coming in 2016 and that director Zack Snyder will follow that up with Justice League, but it wasn’t until recently that the studio announced plans to release an additional eight movies based on their DC Comics characters which will all hit between 2016 and 2020.

We currently don’t know what any of those will be, but there are enough rumours doing the round to at least give us an idea! Of course, we also have a few others we’d like, and they’re ALL included here.

Agree? Disagree? Let us know what DC Comics movies you’re hoping to see below!

10. Justice League Dark

Justice League Dark

Guillermo del Toro insists that he’s still hoping to bring Dark Universe to the big screen, despite having a dozen or so other projects in the pipeline. The movie is basically an adaptation of the DC Comics series Justice League Dark, and it would feature a team led by John Constantine which features obscure and monstrous characters like Deadman and Swamp-Thing. It’s a project which del Toro seems perfectly suited for, but will Warner Bros. give one of these coveted release date slots away to someone who failed to generate them a decent profit with the mega budget Pacific Rim?

It’s hard to say, and with Constantine now getting his own TV series, this is a DC Comics movie which the studio might decide isn’t a priority right now…
