Super sad news to wake up this morning as we hear that music and movie legend David Bowie has lost his battle to cancer aged 69.
Bowie was most famous for his music but also starred in numerous movies including Labyrinth in 1986 opposite a very young Jennifer Connelly as the eccentric ‘Jareth the Goblin King’, The Prestige in 2006 as Nikola Tesla, Zoolander and in classics like The Man Who Fell to Earth and we were also reminded this Christmas that he introduced Short Film ‘The Snowman’. He also appeared in Extras with Ricki Gervais in 2006.
The news of his death was confirmed by his Director son Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code, Warcraft) who put out a very moving tweet with beautiful photo of him and his dad during what looks like a very happy time.
Our thoughts go out to to the David’s family and thank you David for all the wonderful memories that you have left behind for us to share for years to come.
