We’ve rounded up the latest and biggest comic book movie/TV show news items from the past 24 hours, and below you’ll find all the latest on everything from Marvel and Netflix’s upcoming Daredevil series to a big reveal from X-Men: Apocalypse director Bryan Singer and an update on Deadpool from Ryan Reynolds.

First we have a set of new posters for Daredevil, the series which follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.

Following the recent suit reveal, Ryan Reynolds has been keeping fans updated on Twitter with various updates, and he has today shown off his bulked up physique and revealed that he’s still fighting for the movie – which has finally escaped from years of development hell – to receive an R-Rating from Fox.

In other Deadpool news, newcomer Brianna Hildebrand has been cast as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, an obscure character with telepathic abilities killed off not too long after was first introduced in the comics.

Sticking to the X-Men universe and X-Men: Apocalypse director Bryan Singer has seemingly confirmed that Angel will appear in the already fairly crowded movie. The fan-favourite mutant was played by Ben Foster in X-Men: The Last Stand, but the altered timeline created by X-Men: Days of Future Past has obviously resulted in him being born a little sooner! It’s hard to say what’s going on here, but it sure is intriguing!

Talking of highly anticipated 2016 comic book movies, David Ayer’s DC Comics adaptation Suicide Squad has apparently added boxer Raymond Olubowale and Scott Eastwood in currently undisclosed roles to the cast.

Finally, we have a clip from an upcoming episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (be warned of potential spoilers if you live in the UK and are a few episodes behind) along with a featurette for The Flash which puts the spotlight on Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Mark Hamill as he returns to the DC Universe as The Trickster!
