Paul Feig’s female led Ghostbusters reboot will see Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones take on lead roles, but another major casting addition has been made today which definitely points to some surprises in the reboot. That’s Thor star Chris Hemsworth as the team’s…secretary?!
The Avengers: Age of Ultron star has been looking to enter the comedy realm for some time now, and after hosting Saturday Night Live, he’ll soon be seen in the Vacation reboot. Hemsworth initially passed on the role, but it sounds like it’s now been beefed up to be a more significant part. Rumour has it that there will be some sort of twist with this unnamed character, but that will likely stay unrevealed until next year.
