Here’s the brand new UK trailer, poster and images for the new movie from Director Kelly Reichardt whose previous work includes Wendy and Lucy, Meek’s Cutoff, Old Joy. Certain Women has a fantastic cast which includes Michelle Williams, Kristen Stewart, Laura Dern and Lily Gladstone and is set for release in the UK 3rd March.
Certain Women has played festivals across the globe and recently won the Best Film award at the BFI London Film Festival. The movie centres around four women who all have different stories to tell.
Laura Dern plays a lawyer who finds herself contending with both office sexism and a hostage situation; Michelle Williams plays a wife and mother whose determination to build her dream home puts her at odds with the men in her life while Kristen Stewart plays a young law student who forms an ambiguous bond with a lonely ranch hand played by newcomer Lily Gladstone.

As their stories intersect in subtle but powerful ways, a portrait emerges of flawed, but strong-willed individuals in the process of defining themselves. The movie is based on the stories by Maile Meloy which Reichardt converted into a screenplay to create this fantastic looking film. You can also read our 4* review from the London Film Festival.
