Earlier tonight we covered the premiere of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. Unsurprisingly, every single one of the people we spoke to had great things to say about the man who led South Africa to freedom; we had no idea that by the time our coverage went live, Mr. Mandela would have passed away.
Many of the people who worked on the film worked closely with the Mandela family, and the producer Anant Singh worked closely with Mr Mandela. Their thoughts on him, and his daughter Zindzi’s thoughts on the worldwide respect for her father, seems like the most appropriate tribute to a giant of the 20th Century that we can offer.
