Buckle up your seatbelts and prepare to take a crash course in rehabilitation with Lightning McQueen in the brand new trailer for Cars 3 which also has a new poster to accompany McQueen’s road to recovery.

As we have already seen from previous trailers Lightning McQueen is about to suffer a humiliating defeat on the track in Cars 3 and his reign at the top of his racing game looks set to be well and truly over as the young blood’s, full of bravado and ambition, look set to take over from the aging racer.

The brand new trailer focuses on Lightning McQueen and his road to recovery and intense training that could be put his racing career back on track, but it doesn’t come easy with all the new technology he simply isn’t used to, including one interactive training simulation exercise he can’t quite get the hang of and ends up crashing into the screen as well as the use of a virtual reality oculus.
