Coming out of Sundance with a tremendous flurry of celebration Matt Ross’s new film is one to watch this year. Not least as Viggo Mortensen gives yet another soulful performance as the father of a family in transition. His determination to go the road less traveled by makes for a bold foundation on which to build the domestic dynamic.
