Yesterday saw the 64th International Cannes Film Festival open with Woody Allen’s latest movie, Midnight in Paris. The movie stars Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody, Carla Bruni, Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams, Michael Sheen, Owen Wilson and from what I’ve seen so far, people absolutely loved it. Many other celebs were present at the opening night including head judge of this year’s competition entrants, Robert Di Nero.

Below we have the first of our video reports courtesy of Cinèmoi who will be producing video content over the course of the Cannes Film Festival. Craig and I will also be jetting off to the south of France tomorrow to attend for a few days and we’re really rather excited about it!

Synopsis: This is a romantic comedy set in Paris about a family that goes there because of business, and two young people who are engaged to be married in the fall have experiences there that change their lives. It’s about a young man’s great love for a city, Paris, and the illusion people have that a life different from theirs would be much better. It stars Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Kathy Bates, Carla Bruni, among others.
