With less than a month to go until the second season begins for HBO’s immensely popular Game of Thrones, we’ve been getting a handful of brilliant things for the coming season in recent weeks.
Adding to that, we now have a terrific new trailer to share with you, courtesy of EW via ComingSoon.net, set to Florence and the Machine’s Seven Devils, and it’s appropriately epic.
Based on George R. R. Martin’s bestselling series of novels, Game of Thrones has fast become one of the most acclaimed series on television at the moment, as well as one of the most anticipated new seasons of the year. And the cast is of course pretty fantastic, starring the likes of Sean Bean, Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Maisie Williams, and Emilia Clarke.
The second season is set to kick off on HBO in the States at 9p.m. on 1st April, and Sky Atlantic should be showing it at 9p.m. on 2nd April, so if you’ve been hungering after more Game of Thrones since the end of the first season, you’ve really not got long left to wait. Enjoy.
