Will Speck and Josh Gordon (The Switch, Blades of Glory) have signed on to direct The Pool.
Dan Lagana wrote the script, and is said to be “in the vein of Risky Business and The Flamingo Kid”.
The Pool is about a middle-class college graduate who jumps into the job market at the worst possible time, and the only gig he gets is teaching swim lessons at a prestigious country club full of beautiful women and their older inattentive husbands.
20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment will co-produce.
