As we get closer to the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it’s easy to feel the excitement building. A lot has been revealed about the movie, but every new image or piece of footage still generates a lot of buzz, and what’s featured here should be no exception.
The gallery below includes some incredible shots from the movie, though the highlight is without a doubt Batman – during that mysterious “Knightmare” dream sequence – overlooking a symbol which should be instantly familiar to DC Comics fans; that’s Darkseid’s logo, and our first real hint that he’s going to end up being the big bad of Justice League.
How is Batman dreaming about the ruler of Apokolips? Well, it could be that these are premonitions of some sort, but we’re now left to wonder how this is all going to play out.
Last night also saw the release of two new TV spots, and those take place from both Batman and Superman’s perspectives as they make their case for taking the other down clear.
