“Next time they shine your light in the sky, don’t go to it. The Bat is dead. Bury it! Consider this mercy,” says the Man of Steel in the first clip from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and if that doesn’t get you excited about this movie, then probably nothing will!
This appears to be the first meeting between the two heroes, and seeing as Superman seems to be warning off the Dark Knight, it could be that he lured him to Metropolis to deliver this message. After all, the trailer for the movie makes it clear that Clark Kent is far from a fan of how Batman handles himself, but it’s honestly hard to say where this all fits.
That’s no bad thing of course, especially as the last trailer for Batman v Superman appeared to give away the entire plot! Still, with rumours of a mysterious third villain doing the rounds and director Zack Snyder promising that fans WILL be surprised, there’s a lot to get excited about when these two iconic DC Comics superheroes finally meet on the big screen.
